Captain Dean Sela is an openly gay pilot who, at the age of 17, actually flew a plane before he even drove a car. His passion for flying began at a very young age and he is now a major influence and advocate for the LGBTQ community in the aviation industry. He is the co-founder of CANADIAN AVIATION PRIDE IN 2008 with Steven Bell, and and is currently an active board member of the NGPA: National Gay Pilot's Association.
